PROJECT STATEMENT

As a lead visual designer, I spearheaded a comprehensive overhaul to streamline our in-car navigation design system. The project evolved from color validation to a full redesign, aligning with Material Design and Google Maps updates while crafting tailored solutions for optimal in-vehicle use.

We implemented design tokens, eliminated inconsistencies, and prioritized the unique needs of automotive interfaces. This resulted in a robust, Auto-first product foundation that enhanced design-engineering collaboration and improved overall efficiency, paving the way for future innovations in Google Maps Automotive design.
