I’m April — a product designer based in Seattle fueled by coffee, outdoor adventures, and the hunt for the perfect scone.

I'm a creative problem solver who specializes in creating connections through design; balancing user needs and business goals to create something beautiful and usable. My design solutions are driven by experimentation, insightful research, and collaboration. 

I recently spent two years designing the future of in-vehicle navigation for Google Maps Automotive. I am now seeking full time opportunities in product design. I am most excited about creating scalable design systems and contributing to digital experiences with passionate people. 

Outside of work, I love baking new treats for friends and family. I’m a sucker for the simple beauty of a well-designed cookbook and have a somewhat obsessive collection. In the summer, you can find me backpacking or sailing with my partner, enjoying an outdoor patio, or cheering at a Mariners game.
